Current prototype
The current prototype does not require an account and does not accept repair invoices, VINs, photos, or payment information. Trouble-code filtering runs in the browser against a small sample dataset.
Hosting infrastructure may process standard request information such as IP address, browser, device, requested URL, timestamp, and security logs.
Data future features may collect
Before adding accounts, analytics, advertising, quote requests, or document uploads, this policy and the relevant interface will identify the data, purpose, provider, retention period, and available choices.
A future repair-document feature would require separate consent and controls for VINs, names, addresses, phone numbers, license plates, and payment details. It will not be implied by ordinary site use.
How information may be used
- Operate, secure, debug, and improve the service
- Understand aggregate search and coverage gaps
- Respond to requests and enforce site terms
- Comply with law and prevent fraud or abuse
Retention and security
Information should be retained only as long as needed for the stated purpose, security, legal obligations, or dispute resolution. No system is perfectly secure; future sensitive-data features will require access controls, redaction, deletion workflows, and incident-response procedures before launch.
Your choices and questions
Browser settings can limit cookies and local storage. State privacy rights may include access, correction, deletion, or opt-out rights depending on where you live and the data involved. A verified privacy request channel will be published before collection beyond standard operational logs.
Children and policy changes
The service is intended for a general vehicle-owning audience and is not directed to children under 13. Material policy changes will update the reviewed date and, when appropriate, receive additional notice.
